Monday Night Class Changes

Starting September 13, the Monday night classes will be held at the Creve Coeur Government center. This larger gym will give the students much more space to learn the dances. Stephanie Medeiros, the Monday night instructor, is looking forward to the move and we hope you are also. This session, Monday night classes will be beginner Rumba and Tango as well as the intermediate Salsa and Foxtrot. Club Dance

Don’t miss the St. Louis Ballroom Dancers club dance on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Amy and Roger Greenawalt, the 45+ US Nine Dance Champions, will be in town to entertain us with their dancing. There will be soft drinks, snacks, great music, and, of course, dancing.

The dance is at Kirkwood Community Center. 111 S. Geyer Road
Kirkwood, MO 63122. 8:00-11pm. $8 per person.

The St. Louis Ballroom Dancers Board is in the process of submitting date requests for the 2011 dances. In the past, the club has sponsored dances 10 months per year. We would like to know if you are interested in club sponsored dances added to the months of August or November or both. Post your reply to let us know your thoughts.

Mark your calendar for Sunday, September 19, 2010 — the date of the second St. Louis Ballroom Dancers Family Picnic. The event will be held in the Gloria Rogers Shelter at Tilles Park in Ladue. We will have food and drink for everyone to enjoy. Plan to come out and have a great time.

If you’ve been to our web site before, you can plainly see that it is undergoing some drastic changes. We are consistently striving to improve the club’s offerings based on feedback, and the site is a big part of that effort.

In addition to the new web site, we are currently organizing our email communications. On the right-hand side of the page you will see a link to our email list page which contains instructions on how to sign up.
